The challenge

The energy transition is difficult to understand from presentations alone.

Electricity-market decisions involve competing technical, commercial and policy objectives. Balance of Power places participants inside those decisions, allowing them to experience the consequences of different strategies and discuss what those results reveal about the real energy transition.

How it works
Participants work through an accessible market simulation before exploring the results in a facilitated group discussion.

    Invest in solar, wind, storage, gas, coal, nuclear and demand-side flexibility while managing your budget, construction times and evolving generation portfolio.

Balance of Power was developed by Dr Antonin Demazy de Fortet, Founder and Principal of GG Advisory, drawing on more than 20 years of international experience across energy systems, strategy and emerging technologies.

Antonin holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Melbourne and an Executive MBA from ESCP Business School. His experience spans energy strategy, electricity systems, market development and the commercialisation of emerging technologies.
