The challenge is not finding another technology option. It is deciding what is worth pursuing, under what conditions, and what evidence is needed before capital is committed.
GG Advisory helps organisations assess energy-transition opportunities and turn them into clearer investment decisions, business cases and delivery pathways. We combine strategic and commercial analysis with energy-sector knowledge, quantitative modelling and practical programme experience.
Where we help
Support is particularly relevant when organisations need to prioritise decarbonisation opportunities; compare competing technologies or delivery pathways; test whether an investment remains attractive under realistic operating assumptions; understand the commercial implications of grid, market or regulatory constraints; build a credible business case; identify relevant funding pathways; or assess an emerging technology where the evidence is still evolving.
How GG Advisory supports clients
• Energy-transition strategy and prioritisation: translate broad energy or decarbonisation objectives into practical investment priorities and next decisions.
• Techno-commercial assessment and business cases: combine technology, market, operating, financial and risk considerations to test whether an opportunity merits further investment, and identify relevant funding pathways where appropriate.
• Distributed and onsite energy strategy: assess opportunities involving onsite generation, storage, flexible demand, energy-management systems, electrification and hybrid solutions.
• Scenario modelling and decision support: use quantitative scenario and sensitivity analysis to test technology configurations, economics, resilience, emissions and other decision variables before significant capital is committed.
• Emerging technology assessment: distinguish demonstrated capability from unproven claims, identify material uncertainties and determine what evidence should drive the next decision.
• Governance and delivery support: structure complex initiatives through clear decisions, milestones, risk management, stakeholder engagement and delivery oversight.
GG Advisory combines current advisory work across emerging industrial climate and energy technologies with the prior experience of its founder, Dr Antonin Demazy de Fortet. Before founding GG Advisory, Antonin led the Australian workstream of a global Shell initiative on commercial and industrial onsite energy, contributed to ARENA-related work on Energy-as-a-Service and flexible demand, and worked with Reactive Technologies on the prospective application of real-time inertia-monitoring technology in a Powerlink environment. His PhD research at the University of Melbourne focused on power-system risk, distributed energy resources and machine-learning applications.
GG Advisory focuses on front-end strategy, techno-commercial assessment and investment and delivery decision support. Detailed engineering design, grid-connection studies, certification and other specialist engineering remain with appropriately qualified practitioners.
